Bertrand Christmann is one of the firm’s two founding partners and the firm’s manager. He advises clients in negotiations and negotiates on their behalf when required. Drafting the legal documents required for a company to function, Bertrand also provides a proactive service to monitor the implementation of contracts.
Bertrand accompanies his private clients in their entrepreneurial and financial projects to achieve long-term solutions. Institutional bodies, such as Ministries of the State and hospitals regularly seek his advice.
When required, Bertrand defends his clients’ best interests in court.
Previously, Bertrand practised within the KPMG Klegal team.
A former researcher at Strasbourg’s law faculty, and Project Manager at the Gabriel Lippman Public Research Centre in Luxembourg, he has over 20 years of University teaching experience in various commercial law subjects.
He is an expert for Luxembourg in the interbank association, German Pfandbrief banks in Berlin.
Bertrand is committed to defending his profession’s values. He was President of the junior lawyer’s division of the Luxembourg Bar and a member of the Bar’s Council. He represents the Luxembourg Bar at meetings of the FBE (Federation of European Bars) and CCBE (Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe).
Bertrand holds an advanced studies diploma in community law (‘D.E.A.’) from the University of Strasbourg as valedictorian and former student of the French literary and classical languages institute, Hypokhâgne.
