From 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all Member States of the European Union.
To comply with this new Regulation, with its high financial penalties, companies are required to conduct a full audit of their processing of personal data.
This includes updating contracts that not only have to be concluded with professional clients and consumers, but also with service providers and collaborators. This contractual updating process must be accompanied by a structural overhaul (reinforcing security measures, implementing new organisational measures, marketing policy, etc.).
ChristmannSchmitt helps its clients to comply with both these new contractual and internal restructuring requirements.
We run professional workshops frequently, to enable our clients and their collaborators to better understand and apply this new Regulation.
